The staff were kind and helpful. The studio room was excellent and very spacious.
I found it too noisy, not sure whether it was just bad timing but I didn't appreciate being woken at 6:00 in the morning two mornings in a row to the sound of maintenance work in the hotel, making it impossible to sleep.

We loved the hotel facilities, especially the modern and clean bathrooms and the large lockers for our belongings. The location was perfect since we could easily access transportation links to the CBD or other suburbs via the nearby tram. The breakfast was a simple and nice touch, with free pancakes on Sundays. We also enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff.
Everything great, no negative aspects to mention.

This backpackers is a great spot to base yourself at the beach with everything you need nearby. the location is amazing with the beach just a stone's throw away and a big supermarket just a 7-minute walk away. You can also enjoy some drinks at the pub downstairs.
One thing to consider is that those who prefer sleeping early may need to bring earplugs as the rooms are not soundproof.

We enjoyed the convenient location and proximity to good tourist sites. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was just okay. We appreciated the reasonable price, and the clean beddings provided a comfortable sleep.
The poor sanitation made us feel uncomfortable, and the room was cramped. The facilities were outdated, and the constant disturbance from boisterous guests affected the peacefulness of our romantic escape.

The free breakfast was actually quite good, with toast, cereal and even fresh fruit. the location of the place was also pretty good, right by a main road which made it easy to find. the staff were quite friendly too, and gave out heaps of discount vouchers for tours and activities.
The room itself was pretty dismal. the beds were old and uncomfortable and the sheets felt like sandpaper.
